It all began When...

I was handed a camera from my mom when I was 13. In the intervening year I have yet to put it down. My career began with newspaper work - the Boulder Daily Camera, the Portland Oregonian, the Aspen Times and the Aspen Daily News. In Aspen I fostered my love of the outdoors, but have also had the opportunity to shoot everything from national and regional breaking news, to features and sports, especially those in the mountains- climbing, skiing, wake boarding and scenic vistas. Many of my portraits of the prominent people who visit Aspen have been widely published-the Dali Lama, Sandra Day O'Connor, Madeline Albright, John McCain, Bobby Flay, Ben Harper and many more. My photography has been published by Associated Press, Reuters, Aspen Sojourner, The Wall Steer Journal, Aspen Magazine, local, Edible Aspen and Aspen Magazine

While I no longer call the newsroom home, I am still exploring Aspen everyday with a camera in hand. I shoot content for local brands, campaigns for international companies, editorial projects, real estate and everything in between. I always strive to capture the most interesting and unique images. Freelance work and feedback is always welcome.
